Shiloh Farmers’ Market was started in late summer of 1999 by Marsha Millican (Caudill) who had been a loyal customer at Wegerzyn Farmers’ Market in North Dayton, Ohio.
Wegerzyn Farmers’ Market was discontinued in 1998, and the next season, in 1999, many of its former vendors set up in downtown Dayton at The Cannery. After the move, Marsha continued to shop at the market and heard a lot of frustration from the farmers. As a result of this, she took it upon herself to find a suitable venue to give the farmers another option, thus Shiloh Farmers’ Market was formed.
Today the market is managed by Stephen & Zella Cook.
Shiloh Farmers’ Market is striving to keep our vendor community both interesting and diverse.
We welcome applications from potential new vendors, who produce their OWN products, starting in January until all spaces are filled.
